Cycling is not only a great way to commute, it can also be a source of freedom and adventure for many, like our colleague Chris George who is a passionate cyclist.

Next month, Chris will be tackling one of the most challenging long-distance routes in the National Cycle Network, Lôn Las Cymru. This incredible route stretches over 253 miles from Holyhead in the north to Chepstow or Cardiff in the south. He will be setting off on August 29th, with plans to complete the journey over six days. It’ll be a demanding, yet rewarding challenge for him, featuring breathtaking landscapes and varied terrains.

While this ride is a personal goal for Chris, he would also like to take this opportunity to support a great cause by raising funds for Bridgend Carers, our Charity of the Year. Bridgend Carers provide essential support and resources to unpaid carers in our Bridgend community. Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of those who benefit from their services. Your support will not only inspire Chris through the challenging miles but also make a meaningful impact on those supported by Bridgend Carers.
