We’ve recently celebrated handing over the keys to your beautiful new homes in Porthcawl.
This new 20-property development on Old Station Road, Ty’r Orsaf, consists of 17 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom accommodations.
This block of 20 flats has been thoughtfully designed with accessible homes on for those over 55 on the ground floor and a seaside view from the top floors. The development is also fitted with solar panels to promote sustainability and cut energy costs for you.
To celebrate this occasion and ensure you felt a warm welcome, we arranged a coffee and cake van to come along. This not only provided a treat but also created a friendly atmosphere that helped the neighbours get to know each other among the hustle and bustle of moving day.
During the event, we had the pleasure of speaking with several of you. One gentleman shared how he felt about his flat, he said:
“Absolutely tremendous, I love it. It’s better than my tent, that’s for sure”.
We also spoke with a couple who were moved to tears of joy while expressing their thanks to their Community Housing Partner, Louise Morris, who had been key in helping them secure their property. They said:
“We knew as soon as we walked in, this is our forever home, we love it”.
