As we progress through the grass-cutting season, we wanted to provide an update on our services and address some current challenges.
Open Spaces
Our grass-cutting service for open spaces includes 13 cuts per season, from April to October. Please note that we do not remove the grass cuttings. Our dedicated teams work diligently to ensure that our open spaces remain maintained and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
Sheltered Schemes
For our sheltered schemes, we also provide 13 cuts per season. Our goal is to maintain a neat environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents.
Current Challenges
Unfortunately, the following areas are currently behind schedule due to challenging ground conditions:
- Porthcawl
- Bridgend Town
- Pencoed
- Cornelly
- Wildmill
- Bryntirion/Cefn Glas
The ground in these areas is very wet, causing the ride-on mower wheels to sink. To address this issue, our contractors will deploy extra teams starting from the 8th of July to catch up on the delayed work.
