Thank you for your nominations, we have chosen our Charity of the Year for 2024! The response was amazing, with over 43 nominations highlighting the incredible work of five deserving charities.
After careful consideration, we are delighted to announce that Bridgend Carers Centre has been selected as our Charity of the Year. The decision was made during our Winter Business Briefings, where colleagues came together and voted for a cause that truly resonated with our values and mission.
Bridgend Carers Centre plays a vital role in supporting individuals who care for family members, partners, friends, or neighbours. They provide not only essential information and advice but also much-needed support and organise social events to help those in their caring roles. We are honoured to contribute to their impactful initiatives throughout the coming year.
We wasted no time in rallying behind this fantastic cause. Our choir jumped at the opportunity to sing Christmas carols outside local supermarkets, we’ve hosted a festive Christmas quiz and a raffle, and we have already raised over £1000!
We are planning a social night at the end of January, where a silent auction featuring some incredible prizes. It’s an excellent opportunity for our colleagues to come together, have fun, and contribute to the ongoing success of Bridgend Carers Centre.
