As we gear up for Christmas we’re excited to announce our participation in three wonderful local initiatives. We believe that by joining forces, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in our community who need it most. This year we’re supporting:
Bridgend Council Santa Appeal
We’re helping make sure every child in Bridgend wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning. We’re asking colleagues to make a cash donation or buy a new, unwrapped gift that we can donate.
If you’d like to support this initiative too then you can find all the information you need on Bridgend Council’s website here.
Age Cymru Gift Box Appeal
We’ve also been thinking about the older members of our community who may be feeling a bit lonely during the festive season. So we’re asking colleagues to grab a shoebox, fill it with thoughtful gifts, and we’ll deliver them to Age Cymru who are delivering them to those in our communities.
If you’d like to support this initiative too then you can find all the information you need on the Age Cymru website here.
Bridgend Foodbank Collection
We support Bridgend Foodbank all year round and often give out foodbank vouchers to our customers who we recognise are struggling to buy food for the fridge. Did you know they’ve assisted 3283 adults and children this year alone?
To help ensure people have something to eat over this festive season, we’re asking colleagues to donate non-perishables, festive extras, or non-food items. We’ll then be making a delivery at the beginning of December in time for those struggling to receive in the lead-up to Christmas.
If you’d like to support this initiative too then you can find all the information you need on the Bridgend Foodbank website here.
If you’re in a position to support these initiatives then drop off your donations at our office, and we’ll ensure they reach the right places on your behalf.
