On the 27th of July, we will be hosting a sponsored walk in support of our remarkable charity of the year, Y Bwthyn Newydd. They do amazing work to help people facing serious illnesses by taking care of their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
The walk will take us on a 20-kilometre route from Ogmore Valley to Bridgend town, offering breathtaking views along the way. We’ve carefully planned stops to ensure everyone can join in and contribute, regardless of their fitness level or time availability.
Cassie Jennings, walk leader for Valleys to Coast, said: “We’re really excited to be taking on the Hiking for Housing challenge for such a worthwhile cause. As a team we recognise the vital role that Y Bwythyn Newydd plays in Bridgend.”
